All this Katrina stuff is making me crazy. James was watching some dumbass on TV blabbing about how we're all horrible people because black people died. Hello? White people, Asian people, Hispanic people died too. Does ANYONE remember that? Nooooo, because that just doesn't fit the agenda. I got so angry I left the room and wouldn't come back until it was over. Then he felt the need to taunt me about it when I came back. Why is it that some people have a deathwish?
Anyway, traffic is making me fricking nuts. I hate the beginning of the school year with a passion. We're now in like week 2, you'd think it would start getting a little better because people are getting accustomed to more people on the road. NO, each morning the main road that I turn off gets more and more backed up. This morning it was backed up past the point where I get on. That's at least FIVE miles!! Just a mere 3 weeks ago, you could travel on that road 50 mph all the way to the end. So I turned around and went some back roads and that helped, until I got to the end where you reach a main road. I was like the 10th car in line and it took nearly twenty minutes for me to get there so I could turn right, everybody else had to turn left. I was having a damn coronary I was so frustrated. I can't even leave earlier because I take Eva to preschool and I get her there just as they're opening. Today will be spent writing to my local elected official so they can get a clue that you can't keep allowing thousands of houses to be built and don't do anything about infastructure to support all those people. If you don't want to build bigger roads, then quit granting building permits. They've done it before!
And on top of all that, Lauren kept me up until about 3 am this morning. She has a cold, which isn't really a big deal, but she has a sensitive stomach. So, *just* as I was falling asleep last night she threw up all over her bed. I get her up and get her changed. Set her up on the sofa, and of course she's wide awake and feeling better so she's running around chasing the cats. Again, *just* as we're getting settled and sleepy she threw up again. So it started all over. And she was getting mad at me because neither Spongebob or Caillou were on. So, I'm going on about 2 1/2 hours sleep.
I haven't been stitching much either, so that's never good for my general happiness.
I finally got my computer back at work and they put all my old computer innards in a new case because they couldn't make everything fit in the old one. This new case has this blue LED light on the front that I guess is supposed to make it look cool, but I really don't like it.
Since I'm complaining, I might as well keep going. Tuesday is my stitching group night. Last Tuesday I couldn't go because James had a meeting. Well, that was ok, because they were going to have a smaller meeting on Thursday that I could go to instead. No, he had another meeting. So, yesterday he tells me that he has a meeting again tonight. Arrrrggggh!
Hmmmm, I can't think of anything else off the top of my head. On the flipside Ernesto decided he better steer clear of this crazy bitch so that's good. It's almost September, so that means only 2 more months of unbearable heat, and that's something to look forward to. Oh and I guess my birthday is coming up and I still won't be 30, so that's good too LOL

Girl, you just need to bitch slap someone and get it out of your system. Want me to send chocolate? {{{{{Autumn}}}}}
Trust me Xanax can be your friend. I too hate watching all this Katrina, racism crap too. It started last week and there was a 3 hr. special on Channel 4. It's so annoying. I understand totally about the traffic too, we live in a small town and got a lot of people who moved here and it takes so much longer to get anywhere.
Sorry you're missing the Xstitch get-to-gether, that really sucs, worse than the traffic I'm sure. LOL
Good luck and hope you have a better day tomorrow.
HUGS!!!
Hope things get better! (I'd offer to ship chocolate but it's still too hot for safe shipping.)
