Potty Training

This is going better than I could have ever expected. Lauren and Maria pretty much got themselves started. We were really sort of hit or miss in the beginning until I hit upon the fact that they didn't want to use the potty chairs. They want to use the big potty. This does cause a lot of fighting over who gets on it first, but it's worth it to save a few diapers a day. They aren't 100% at all but they can tell me when they have to go and they usually go when they get on the potty, but they still have to wear diapers for the time being. It'll be a happy happy day when they're out of diapers!

Yay! Now I can be jealous of you! Katie still isn't fully trained so even though she showed early signs of readiness we are still at about the same place Lauren and Maria are. She starts the two year old room at daycare in a two weeks though which is when they start training at school and I suspect that will be the catalyst. I hope anyway!!

That's awesome. I was very judgemental about potty training before I had kids, therefore my kids were not the easiest to potty train.

That's great Autumn. When they are totally ready they often will let you know. My two both just decided one day that they were done. This was after a few months of practice. Maybe they just got tired of fooling around! LOL
