Do you watch "True Blood" on HBO? It takes place in LA. I am freaking hooked It's based on a series of books too. I was thinking about reading those ones too..

That series was almost as bad as Harry Potter for me - I devoured it - at least the first 3 books. I had to wait for the 4th.
