I'm on the Wagon

The Stash buying Wagon that is. What is that thing from AA, admit to yourself and one other person the exact nature of your problem or something like that? Ok, well I did that with my friend Marjean. We're hopping on the Wagon together. We set our end goal as December 31. Until then, we can only use our own stash or shop each other's if need be. However, I'm fairly certain that unless I need something really specific for a RR or something, that I won't have any problems with it. It's just the will power thing. In all actuality, I could probably last several years without buying too much else. I think I'd run out of fabric before I ran out of anything else, but I really have enough of that!

Let me just rant that the air conditioner isn't working at work. It hasn't really been for like a week, but it wasn't really unbearable. However today, when I came in, it was hotter in the building than it was outside. Today's heat index is supposed to be 105F so I hope that it gets fixed soon.

I just started watching 24 on DVD. I only watched the first four episodes, but it has me wondering....where the heck have I been?? This show is so cool!

UGH! I'd have a tough enough time going without AC here in WI where most days have highs in the high 70s or low 80s. I'd about melt in that kind of heat!! Hope it gets fixed really soon.

Good luck on the wagon. I kind of did the same thing, since February. I didn't think of it as being on the wagon to a certain date, but taking it a day at a time. So far so good, except for some beads, but not at all like I had been in years past. Of course having our income reduced a lot helps "stay on".

Sorry about the heat!

I don't know how you're working - I'd seriously melt in that kind of heat! Hopefully they're taking it easy on you.

105 & no a/c??? oh yuk.

I could probably stitch out of my stash for awhile -- with an occasional fiber purchase. It is just tastes change, & the new designs are tempting.

24 is kewl, the violence gets on my nerves at times, but overall is usually fast-paced and interesting

Jon and I have been fans of 24 since the 1st season. Its a cool show. Sometimes, when I want to piss Jon off I ask him "What would Jack Bauer do?"

Watch out Autumn.... 24 is very addictive. You'll find yourself wanting to watch 'just one more episode', and then another, and then another - it's great though!

Good luck on your Wagon challenge.
