At times I kinda like it. It makes me think of something old and coppery green...like I'm making an instant antique. It makes me think of New Orleans for some odd reason. I don't know why exactly. Maybe because the fabic is the color of mold maybe LOL I don't know what other color fabric I'd use with that thread though. I think white would be too light. I think it needs a dark color fabric.
I like it. It is very soft and understated, but I think it looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteI agree that it is soft (and kind of moldy like). For me, it blends in a little too much. But, it's not about me. It's about you and what you like. If you like it then GO FOR IT!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI sometimes like things that you have to look a little more closely at to see clearly. The color is very subtle though so I can see why you might not be crazy about it at times. It's not going to be an "in your face" kind of stitch!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabby--go with it!
ReplyDeleteIts gonna be very subtle. Kinda like whitework... greenwork? :) Do what you like and love. That said, I'm tempted to frog my progress on PL because I'm not in love with it.
ReplyDeleteI think it's really nice and if you like it--go for it. You have to make sure YOU like it before investing too much time in it to change. I've learned that the hard way--over and over again. :P Love the freebie finish!
